Everly, Lennon, Annie, and Evelyn, between the ages of 9 and 10, were deeply saddened by the tragedy and wanted to help.

With the support of their mothers, they plan to sell various baked goods and drinks for a dollar each.

A tragic accident claimed the lives of an elderly couple in Kingwood on Sunday evening following a high-speed collision along West Lake Houston Parkway.

 

The Houston Police Department reported that the fatal crash happened just after 5:45 p.m. at the intersection of West Lake Houston Parkway and Magnolia Cove Drive.

 

A white Cadillac SUV, carrying the couple, was struck on its side by a speeding Dodge Ram while entering the roadway from a stop sign.

 

Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene, while the Dodge Ram's driver was taken to Kingwood Hospital for medical attention.

 

Authorities are investigating whether intoxication influenced the crash, raising fresh concerns about road safety.

 

The community mourns this loss, urging all drivers to stay vigilant and obey traffic laws to prevent further tragedies.

 

Memorial services will be announced as Kingwood rallies to support the grieving families.
